The
DOG-SPITALITY©

« The art of recognizing the dog as a true client, one whose needs are anticipated, whose comfort is designed with intention, and whose presence inspires tailored services, rituals, and care. Giving rise to a loyalty only a dog can offer and no human ever forgets. »

Dog-friendly is everywhere. The dog's experience is nowhere.

A sign on the door says the dog may enter. Nothing says what happens next: where they sleep, what they eat, who greets them, how the guest at the next table is kept at ease. We wrote the standard so that something does. It comes in two parts: a doctrine, for every house that receives dogs, and a label, for those who want to be measured against it.

The five rules of the Dog-Spitality©

IThe dog is a client.

Five rules for any house that receives a dog, a hotel, a restaurant, a shop, a service. They say how the dog is to be thought of before they are served. Nothing in them is secret, everything in them is demanding.

The label.
35 criteria.

The Dog-Spitality© label measures the dog's experience in a House, criterion by criterion, across seven moments: before the stay, the arrival, the room, the table and the house, the unexpected, the departure, and the invisible. It is built on details, the height of a bowl, the length of a corridor, the words a receptionist chooses, because that is where a dog decides. The criteria are confidential, and shared with the Houses who are measured.

Declared by the House. Confirmed by the dog.

The House declares where it stands. The members of the Club who stayed confirm, or contradict, and the score moves with every stay. The survey and the certification are free. If your House is ready to be measured, the door is here.
